About Slashdream
We build software, and we believe good software is mostly about what you leave out.
The name
A slash cuts: it separates, it simplifies, it takes away what is not needed. A dream is where every project starts, as a wish for something that does not exist yet. Put them together and you have our whole method: begin with the dream, then cut until what is left is light enough to ship.
Our mark is a shooting star. Its trail leans at the same angle as the slash in our name, and a few streaks of stardust break it up. A wish, in motion.
What we believe
Plain language
Clear writing, honest estimates and decisions on paper. If we cannot explain it simply, we are not done thinking.
Automate the boring part
Builds, tests and deployments belong to machines, so people can spend their time on the product.
Leave it better
We hand over software that others can run, read and extend without us.
